Climate
Found on the eastern shore of Mexico, Cancun boasts an average in the mid to high 80s in December and an average low in the mid 70s.
Time Zone
Cancun observes the Eastern Standard Time Zone. So, all the winners from the Eastern time zone don’t even need to change their watches! For those winners hailing from the Central time zone, you’ll have to set your watches up one hour so you can enjoy the average Sunrise at 7:00 AM and the average sunset at 6:00 PM.
Telecommunications
Contact your cellular service provider before you depart for Cancun to see if you will be charged for calls made or received while in Cancun. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available in your guest room and public areas throughout the resort.
Electricity
The Mexico power outlet is Type A and Type B, which is the same type of plug used in the United States. This means that if you have any electronic devices from the United States, you won't need a travel adapter for them to fit into the power socket and they will work normally in Mexico.
Currency
We will be staying at an all-inclusive report. If for whatever reason you need to purchase anything, United States Dollars (USD) and major credit cards are widely accepted. To ensure hassle-free purchases during your trip, you may want to contact your credit card company and let them know you will be traveling abroad. You will not need to exchange money to make purchases on this trip.
Language
Spanish and English are the official languages, but Spanish is without a doubt the dominant language. Most hospitality industry workers (hotel staff and drivers) will speak English.
